The Beginning
Hi everyone! I'm in Vancouver right now and so very close to the start of my trip. I went straight from the airport to a reccomended bike shop (Dream Cycles), and then pretty much straight from there to a reccomended hostel (The Cambie). Both establishments are pretty awesome in my opinion. Tomorrow my bike will be ready so I'll ride around town and make sure any bugs in my bike setup get worked out before I head out of the city. I'll take some touristy snapshots and upload them if I can fine a computer with a USB port on it (This is being typed from a coin slot internet console). I miss everyone from toronto already, and got a little bit emotional on the cab ride from my house to the airport. Russel and Carey, you two will always have a couch in my heart. Special thanks to everyone who made it out to our last miniute party last night, even if you didn't stay for long!

A second year without you, your Dad your brother and barley miss you so very much. Your friends do too and you would be very proud of what they are doing in Toronto in your name.
THE CHARLES PRINSEP ART INITITIVE. They are setting up a bike workshop in Regents Park to teach kids to put together and maintain bikes, also road safety. The kids will be able to keep the bike they have built.
I wish you were their to lead in person instead of just in spirit.

Another year has passed without you here with us we miss you so much. Here you are at the beginning of your big adventure so full of excitement , confidence and life it brims over in your descriptions. You would be so proud of your friends , I hope you are watching over them and urging them on in spirit. They have now opened a shop called Charlie's Bike Shop at Parliament and Queen where they run CharliesFreeWheels as well as mend and supply bike parts to the public at large to support your enterprise. The shop looks great and already it has received good press. We will see it this Summer.Oh how we all miss you and Barley

It is now 5 years since we said good bye, I miss you so much, there isn't an hour or a day goes by without you being in my thoughts. I see your friends and compatriots and I wonder what you would have been doing. I miss our weekly chats on the phone and above all I miss you my darling boy.
